Summoners Fate is set in a world full of powerful summoners, obscure allies, and ‘eventful’ overworld interactions that are solved with the faithful roll of a D20.
Every summoner comes with a curated starting deck, showcasing their unique mechanics. Venturing through the world you’ll face off against powerful foes in turn-based strategic combat with a choice between unleashing powerful spells through the use of cards or outmaneuvering them through grid-based combat.
Delving deeper into a dungeon, scouring across a desert, or exploring a forest offers a flurry of events for you to participate in. From freeing a bear from a cage to refusing to pay a shopkeeper for their wares, these interactions add to the story of your run by offering powerful rewards in the form of cards, allies, and hidden lore.
Completing these interactions comes in the form of rolling the trusty D20. Collecting dice as a resource on your quest provides you with the choice of how many dice to roll for each event.
While Summoners Fate offers an expansive single-player experience, it also offers the chance to pit Summoner against Summoner to see who is the greatest. Progressing through the single-player content will unlock Summoners, allies, and spells for you to build a competitive deck.
