Turn-based puzzle strategy, where you can't give any orders. Your unit will choose their path and targets by themselves.
What you do every turn is changing your troops types and terrain tiles. Then press "End turn" and see your plan is being executed
With a little help of magic, it should be enough to protect your convoy through a series of puzzle battles and fight a boss in the end.

Rouge-lite: Upgrade your army, find new spells and recombine your build before every mission, but your enemy will also prepare more and more surprises.

How long (an answer for busy players, like myself): 3-4 hours for a successful run with certain replayability to start another with another build.
