6.1 소개

Ys I & II로부터 700년 전, Ys의 대지는 파괴되기 직전에 놓여 있었습니다. 악마들은 떼지어 도래하였고, 대지를 다스리던 쌍둥이 여신들은 그들의 백성들과 함께 지상으로부터 구름 속으로 도망쳤습니다. 그러나 악마들은 끈질겼고, 거대한 탑을 세우며 그 뒤를 쫓았습니다. 지상에 번졌던 전투는 하늘에서 두번째 막을 올리기 시작했습니다.

이러한 혼란 속에 어느날 밤 여신들이 사라졌고, Ys에서는 그들을 찾을 수 없었습니다. 그들이 있을만한 곳은 악마의 탑밖에는 없었습니다.

기사와 마법사들의 탐색대가 급히 조직되어 이 사라진 여신들을 되찾기 위해 지상으로 파견되었습니다. 이 대원들 중에는 견습 기사 Yunica Tovah와 근심 가득한 마법사 Hugo Fact가 있었습니다.
